Newer School so the facilities are in good condition. However, I found pictures of my daughters friends on her cell phone doing drugs at & away from the school, and the school did nothing. They basically excused the behavior of their student athletes and cited that while they have the right to test their teams under the IHSA guidelines, they elect not to. Pictures can be doctored, etc. etc. BEYOND SADDENING.... we didn t inform the school to get certain individuals in trouble, but to make them aware of what was going on in plain view at their school. While I cannot parent those students, I will surely move before my next child is of age to attend OEHS. As a former District 204 employee, I can assure you that these matters were handled differently as I witnessed firsthand. A true shame to believe that this is what my tax dollars are paying for.

My son attends OEHS. He is involved in band, marching band, and a top-notch robotics program. His teachers are friendly and I can tell that they care about his success. He has nice friends, and the school seems safe. As a parent, I feel welcome to be involved in his extra-curricular programs, and have met many nice families.

Transferred to area...Oswego East High School is VERY WELL RUN! If a student has interest in any type of club and it's not offered, administrators will ADD IT! You can join Sports here (without having to have a personal trainer)! School offers after school tutoring with bus service for FREE with TEACHERS, not students! Student culture is AWESOME---several student groups openly discourage bullying, NO DRUG PROBLEMS, diversity with Respect for Others! Honors Class Sizes are reasonable to learn and NOT overcrowded! Teachers are mostly from Oswego or Naperville and enthusiastic about teaching and update their websites daily and communicate without attitude! Same books as other districts too! BEST HIGH SCHOOL IN AREA!!!

My family moved to the area just in time from the 2011-2012 school year from Minnesota. My daughter was attending a prestigious private school, and I can honestly say that moving to Plainfield and sending my daughter to OEHS has been more than an amazing experience! The building is gorgeous, her teachers go above and beyond. Although my daughter is in mostly Honors classes and does not need me to tell her to get her work done, I receive emails from teachers keeping me in the loop. Sure, the test scores for OE aren't ideal, but that's an average of how the kids perform-my daughter is an individual. Every school has its challenges, and OE is no dofferent. As for the social aspect, she has grown tremendously! She is involved in sports and has made great friends. Our move couldn't have gone smoother, the transition easier, and we couldn't be happier!

I could not be happier with the education my children are receiving at this school. One child is graduating and headed to a fantastic university, and the other one is a freshmen. The teachers have been phenomenal and are dedicated to helping students succeed. The building is beautiful, and the student body seems very nice. I am so proud that my children are Wolves!

Great new building, but test scores are lower than OHS and below standardized levels in several categories. Gang elements have moved into the area. While the elementary and junior high schools in district 308 are good, less than impressed with OEHS.

Oswego East High School is an excellent school. Students come first! Parents, students and staff are involved and take pride in being a wolf. We are also offering a Europe trip in 2010.

Great school, administration, teachers, extra-curricular activities and overall learning environment. The students are much more accepting and supportive of each other than those at the old high school. My college-aged child feels that OEHS prepared them well for the real world. We feel very lucky that our children attend OEHS rather than OHS.
